In a significant step toward enhancing critical care facilities in Northern Sri Lanka, four state-of-the-art multi-modal patient monitors were delivered to hospitals in Vavuniya and Killinochchi this morning. The monitors, valued at nearly £4000, were provided as part of MIOT’s ongoing commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure in underserved regions.
These advanced devices will enable medical teams to closely monitor patients’ vital signs, ensuring timely interventions and better patient outcomes. The initiative underscores MIOT’s dedication to supporting healthcare professionals with cutting-edge technology, even in remote areas.
“We are proud to contribute to the strengthening of critical care services in the Northern Province,” said a MIOT representative. “These monitors will play a crucial role in saving lives and improving treatment efficiency.”
This donation reflects MIOT’s broader mission to bridge healthcare disparities and empower medical institutions across Sri Lanka.
